Oh wow, thank you for the comment. I'm glad you like them that much.
I used paint shop pro and just changed the colours a bit with the 'curves' thing. I did that for all my icons, just change the curve a bit till I like how the colours turned out. It's the same in photoshop CS2 (and probably CS3).
