Holiday Fest 2008: Submit Your Prompts Here!!!

Okay, everyone, time to hit us with your prompts for our first ever Holiday Fest here at shelter_diner! We’ll take general (word or phrase) or more specific (scenario) prompts. Since this is our first Holiday Fest, the only requirement is that your prompt must have something to do with the holiday season.

Examples of both general and specific prompts (you do not have to submit both, this is just to serve as an example):

Christmas tree
present
snow

Shaun takes Cody shopping to buy a present for Zach
snowball fight!
Zach and Shaun decorate their first Christmas tree, then have sex beneath it

Get the idea? Now it’s your turn! Comment here with your holiday prompts, and I’ll collect them all in one list for claiming. You can submit prompts for one week, through next Saturday, November 15. I’ll post the complete list of prompts to the comm on November 16. Fic/graphics/etc will be due end of December, December 22-December 31. That'll give you a full 5-6 weeks to create your submission.

Please remember that you will be able to write fic, create graphics, etc, so keep that in mind, also, when you submit your prompts.

You will not be required to claim a prompt in order to submit a prompt and you may claim your own prompt. There is no limit on the number of prompts you may submit. However, if you come back at a later time to submit more prompts, please do so in a new comment to this post rather than in a reply to your previous comment. This makes it easier for me to make sure I don't miss any.

Angst with a happy ending.

I do not really care what happens in the story (they can be mad at each other, Zach can be mad at Shaun or vice versa) just as long as there is some good angst that is worked out by the end.

Your prompt is very welcome, I love me some angst with a happy ending, but could you reword it so that it has some connection to the holiday season? Even a generic "Holiday angst with a happy ending" would be okay, but I don't want to change your prompt myself. *g*

Lets see something like...

Zach has not been getting along with Shaun's friends and it all comes out at a christmas party.

The holiday season is making Zach miss San Pedro causing a strain on their relationship.

Of Christmas time has never been a happy time for Shaun. Instead of telling Zach he tries to fake it but he does not do such a good job.
