I don't know, it's like "shelter and "latter days" are my two favorite gay movies but they're both so emotional at times that I can't watch them over and over, no matter how beautiful they are. I'll watch it again soon, prolly,

I feel the same way with Shelter! I get so sad at the end of the movie because I don't want it to end. I watched Latter Days for the first time recently and found it to be really....bad? The actors were OK looking but everything else felt flat to me. The music they used in the movie also wasn't good.

Shelter's soundtrack on the other hand, I could listen to it all day long!

I agree Shelter was much better made. I think they had some issues going from book to movie with Latter Days and some issues with other things
