Hey Kids,
Just popping in to introduce myself. "Sam" is just a username for me--you can call me Jessica ... because that is my name. :)
I saw Shelter for the first time a little over a month ago, have seen it more times than I can count since then, and, in case you haven't guessed it, am completely in love with this film and the characters Zack, Shaun, and Cody, who have all become very real to me. I was very excited to find this community, and I can't wait to meet you all, join your discussions, read your fanfics, and contribute to it all.

I love this movie. It's sweet, with a little angst, and a lot of love and family.

I think one of the things I enjoy the most about this film is how well the angst is balanced with happier moments. It seems to be a rarity in gay-themed movies.

Date: 2008-07-06 03:09 pm (UTC)Yes, I have seen "Latter Days" and it is one of my faves as well. Yet another well-acted film. And another happy ending. That scene where Aaron and his mother are yelling at each other and she slaps him always kills me. It's brilliantly done.
