Request about Shelter novel

I recently found out that there was a novel adaptation made of the movie. Has anyone read it? If so, what did you think?

most of us have been waiting a year and it might come out next month...maybe...if we're lucky...if they don't push back the date...again...

the US one is saying between August 19 2010 - October 29 2010...yeah that's not a small window or anything

and tla is saying the end of August so I don't know when it's really going to come out

Oh well that sucks! I just saw Shelter for the first time last week and have become totally obsessed haha. I heard there was a novel and freaked a little. I can't WAIT to read it <:-D

all of us shelter fans since 2008 have been waiting for that book. we can't wait to read it too. waiting waiting waiting, and waiting..... i hope the book sees daylight. oh well, at least we have plenty of wonderful fanfic to read!!

true that. most shelter fanfics i've read were surprisingly good. who knows, they might be even better than the book. but well, nothing beats canon, so... XD

Well I saw it on Amazon, but my local Borders had a copy. Honestly though, it's not that good. Like if you hadn't seen the move it would be a bad book. But it does give some interesting background info on some of the characters.

Yup, the novel was not very good at all. I've read better latter days fanfic for sure
