Hope y’all enjoyed your Shelter-filled weekend! *g*

ETA: I also wanted to say that I'm thrilled with the number of submissions we received this year, and with how awesome they were. We have some pretty amazing authors and artists here.

Title: The Best Laid Plans of Candy Hearts and Dedications
Author: mrsmarit
Pairing/Characters: Zach/Shaun, Cody
Rating/Category: PG-13
Prompt: Both Shaun and Zach are secretly planning to propose on Valentine's Day
Spoilers: None if you haven't seen the movie. Brief mention of artwork made during the film
Summary: Shaun has the perfect Valentine's Day planned as well as the perfect proposal. However it seems the universe is against him. Will he still be able to get the one thing he wants for Valentine's Day, for Zach to say yes? Notes/Warnings: I do not own Shelter or the characters within it. I wish I did. Also sorry this is a little late, I got distracted watching the Social Network. Also completely unbetad so all mistakes are 150% mine.

Follow the candy hearts... )

Cody was too proud to have made a family tree out of macaroni, yarn, and what looked like glitter glue – though Zach had sworn up and down that he had never bought any devil glue

Here is my small input for the Valentine's day.Because english isn't my first language I've choosen to create a collage to the theme "Cody makes Valentines for his dads".
I decide that he will made a collage with nice pictures, some doodle and help from the good old Gabe ;)
The collage is the outcome of my imagination how it could look like.Think Cody would be a creative head like his dad :)

Hope you like it a bit.

The prompts are in, now it’s time to get creative!

All types of fannish creations are welcome. You may choose to write/wallpaper/vid as many prompts as you like, and more than one person may choose each prompt. There is no length requirement, and you may claim your own prompt(s).

Please claim your prompt(s) in comments to this post. And so that you can find it again, this post will be tagged {challenge} v-day fest 2011.

Submissions will be due Valentine’s Day weekend, Saturday, February 12 - Monday, February 14, as a sort of Valentine’s Day gift for us all. *g*

I guess that’s it for the rules; on to the prompts.

Have fun! *g*

Prompt Submission Post

There seems to be some interest in a third Valentine’s Day Fest here at [livejournal.com profile] shelter_diner, and individual prompts was the consensus, so hit us with your prompts! We’ll take general (word or phrase) or more specific (scenario) prompts. The only requirement is that your prompt must have something to do with Valentine’s Day or romance (or the lack thereof) in general.

Here are some examples of both general and specific prompts (you do not have to submit both, this is just to serve as an example):

candy hearts
flowers
love

The first time one of them says ‘I love you’.
Zach and Shaun argue about something stupid, then make up while baking cupcakes for Cody’s Valentine’s Day party.
Zach wonders if Shaun will think that flowers are too girly.

Get the idea? Now it’s your turn! Comment here with your prompts, and I’ll collect them all in one list for claiming. You can submit prompts for the next twelve (12) days, through next Saturday, January 15. I’ll post the complete list of prompts to the comm on Sunday, January 16. Fic/graphics/etc will be due Valentine’s Day weekend, Saturday, February 12 through Monday, February 14. That'll give you a full four (4) weeks to create your submission.

Please remember that you will be able to write fic, create graphics, etc, so keep that in mind, also, when you submit your prompts.

You will not be required to claim a prompt in order to submit a prompt, nor do you have to submit a prompt to claim a prompt, and you may claim your own prompt. Whew!

There is no limit on the number of prompts you may submit. However, if you come back at a later time to submit more prompts, please do so in a new comment to this post rather than in a reply to your previous comment. This makes it easier for me to make sure I don't miss any.

Okay, now you guys say something! *g*

I waffled about doing this on the heels of the Holiday Fest, but I'm thinking that there might be more time for a fest not held over the holidays when RL intrudes, so please take this poll to let me know if there's interest in holding another V-Day Fest.

Thank you!
