There's a new comm on lj that sounds really interesting for writers.

A Bi-Yearly Fanfiction Marathon held on LJ, As well as smaller contests and disscussion for writers

Twice a year the community holds Ficsation, once in December the other in July. Ficsation is a marathon writting competion where members try to hit 10k in three days. As well, there is a novice category (3k in 3days) and a partner fanfiction (5k in three days between 2 people). Anyone is welcome and we hope to get more and more members as the date approaches.

Currently they are having Warm Up Frenzie Number 1, which has some awesome prompts.

I plan on using a few of them, and I thought maybe some people here would be interested too.
