Angst vs Schmoop Challenge: Round Three – Posting Rules Reminder

It’s Saturday, which means that tomorrow is the day we’ve all been waiting for, the first day for fic postage this round! A couple of posting reminders for the Authors so things run smoothly for all of us.

~These rules are not optional, so authors please review them before posting your fic.~

Rules:

1. Your subject line should read: Theme (Team Angst) or Theme (Team Schmoop), as the case may be. (That’s it, no title or any other information, just your theme and team name.)

2. Use an appropriate header with at least the following information:

<b>Title:</b> <b>Author:</b> <b>Pairing/Characters:</b> (use full names rather than initials) <b>Rating/Category:</b> (eg, NC17/Gen or R/Slash) <b>Spoilers:</b> (if applicable) <b>Summary:</b> <b>Notes/Warnings:</b> (if applicable)

3. You must include a link to the rating polls post, or directly to the poll itself for your theme in your fic post. The rating polls will be posted to the comm momentarily.

4. If you post the fic here at shelter_diner please place the fic itself behind a cut. If you post the fic in your own journal you must link to it here and include the following blurb in your journal:

4a. If you post the fic in your own journal, please include the prompt and the team you’re writing for in your header so that the folk reading your fic may properly rate it.

5. Your fic must use your theme in whatever manner you interpret that theme.

6. Your fic must be at least 500 words long. There is no maximum length.

7. No WIPs. Your fic must be complete.

8. Your fic must stand alone. It may be part of an ongoing ‘verse, or a sequel, but it must be able to stand on its own so the reader is not required to read/have read previous parts to properly rate it.

9. Crossovers, fusion, AUs, etc, will be allowed, but please remember that this is Shelter challenge, so the fic should center on our favorite characters from the Shelter movie.

10. You must post your fic by midnight the day it is due.

Angst vs Schmoop Challenge: Round Three – Rating Reminder & Polls

Below are all of the rating polls for Teams Angst and Schmoop for Round Three. Authors, please remember to link to this post, or directly to the relevant poll itself (by clicking on the Poll #xxxx link), in your fic post.

Rating Reminder:

1. Your rating will be anonymous.

2. You do not have to rate one fic over the other. You are rating each fic on its own merits.

3. Rate each fic on a scale from 1 to 10 (10 being the best) on the following criteria:

-how well the writer used the theme
-how angsty (or schmoopy) the fic was
-how much you liked it

4. Please only vote once in each poll. Authors, do not rate your own fic.

5. Rating for all stories will remain open for two days following the posting of the last story, including pinch-hit fic.
