I may not comment on every chapter, but I want to let you know how much I'm still loving this story. I love the pacing, both within the actual story, and in how often you post chapters--it's as though Zach and Shaun's lives are going on in parallel to my own life, and I'm getting updates on it every few days. I will be very sad when the day comes when you are no longer writing this story and sharing it with us--I hope it isn't soon!
Jeanne's death was sad, and tragic for so many reasons. It's something that I had thought about as well as a real possibility given Jeanne's apparent self-destructive tendencies. I thought you did a wonderful job portraying how Zach dealt with the loss of his sister--very realistic and in character.
Please keep writing! Us die-hard Shelter fans would be so lost without your amazing saga!
