Fanon Names - Let's just name them...

I need some names - if you know me, then you know that... I'm lousy at coming up with names.

So I need Zach's Father's name, Shaun and Gabe's bio-dad's name, and Shaun and Gabe's mother's name (I'm getting to the point where addressing her as "Mrs. Andrews" isn't going to work anymore").

I'd consult a baby naming book, but hey, it's easier to ask here. Everyone has really good ideas!

for Zach's father I always think Fred, not real reason it's just what comes to mind, with any luck the book will have some of those names if it ever comes out...

Yeah, what's up with this book? Is it like a practical joke? They keep on pushing the print date.

Anyway, I also need Cody's bio-dad's name too. I think they said on the movie... it sounded like "Troy"? Roy?

Yeah, Cody's dad is Roy.

I always thought Gabe and Shaun's dad would have some SoCal in the seventies kind of name -- Keith, Steve, Tim. . .

I feel like I've seen Shaun and Gabe's mom as Kate more than once in fanfic, but not enough that it's really fanon.

I can't recall ever seeing Shaun and Gabe's mom with the name Kate...but I just checked the fic where I named her, and I called her Kate. Now I'm just weirded out.

Apparently the book's supposed to come out in two weeks but I'm not going to count my chickens before they hatch. I hope they don't push back the date again.

Others are right, Zach identifies Cody's father's name as Roy. I think I have seen stories with Shaun and Gabe's mother called Laura before. It seemed a bit fitting when I read it. Their father I imagine being called Mark or Martin for some reason. Zach's father I oddly see as a Dirk, Ed, Ray, or Vince- sort of classic "working man's" names. Imagining their names is rather fun!

You've probably already written the thing by now, but just had to add a final thought on Shaun and Gabe's mother: I had an idea of Mrs. Andrews named something like Valerie or Audrey also. I'd be interested to see what sorts of names the book has for these characters!
