Question
Call me stupid, but what is META? I saw the term here and I have no idea what it means *lol*
PS: This might be off topic, but if you love "Shelter" and you LOVE reading books, I highly recommend this book: Leave Myself Behind by Bart Yates (Amazon.com preview: here) - because it will totally give you the same happiness and warmth you got from the movie :)

I love Leave Myself Behind! The idea of people finding each other when they're at loose ends (much like Zach and Shaun) always gets to me. And Noah is very funny despite what he's going through.

oh, i am happy someone read that book too. i rec'd to another friend of mine and we both like gush about it and discuss about it. we both read it before we watch Shelter. i think that's why i love Shelter so much, because in a way, they have both leave me with fuzziness and warmth.
Noah is just hilarious. when i got to the part where Noah described his feeling as he watched JD walked towards him and then JD lifted his head up and smiled to him, i was totally melted and ended up as glob of goo on the floor, much like when the scene of "you're so beautiful" in Shelter. Sigh

I reread Leave Myself Behind at least a few times and I think I'm going to pick it up again. Thanks for reminding me of it. Also, thank you again for the icons. I obviously love them.

I also loved Leave Myself Behind. I really enjoy Bart Yates' writing. I liked his The Brothers Bishop, though the subject matter bothered me.
